Pinterst Make Lace shorts

So I made lace shorts.

Tips:

By lace by the yard at Joann's or Hancock Fabric's its much cheaper

I hand stitched this, I didn't have a sewing machine at the time but it probably only took 5 hours, but I used some smaller lace which took more time. Overall really cute.

Pressed pair of shorts. I choose these because they were a tad bit too see through.

I pinned lace on to the shorts starting at the bottom. Then I hand sewed each layer, but it didn't take that long.

This is the back side of the shorts, because they have "butt room' I had to add at least two extra layers of lace.

Here they are finished. I just took a bit of left over lace sewed it onto a satin type ribbon.  I haven't cut the belt to size yet.
